“The existing master bedroom could not be changed in location or usage during this remodel. The homeowners wanted a very spacious bathroom, but the existing bedroom was simply too large to become the master bathroom, so I talked with the owners about making the existing den into a spacious master bath. We changed the very small existing bathroom into the master closet suite. We then decided to create the new master bath in the very best quality since any visitors (and the homeowners) had to go through the bathroom to reach the master bedroom. Realizing that the den could be turned into a master bathroom was the true ‘ah-ha’ moment on this project.”
